P O G G I O D E L C O N C O N E

Tuscany-Toscana-is the very essence of Italy. Rolling hills draped with vineyards, olive groves, and cypress trees seem to breathe with the rhythm of time itself. It is no wonder the world flocks here to experience the region’s natural beauty, rich history, art, cuisine, and renowned wines. From the Mediterranean coastline to the rolling hills of varying elevation, Tuscany’s landscape provides the perfect setting for its most celebrated art—wine. Sun-drenched days and cool evening yield grapes with remarkable acidity and aromatics to produce wines of exceptional balance and character.

A journey through Tuscany is more than a passage across beautiful countryside—it is an immersion into centuries of winemaking tradition shaped by both heritage and innovation. It is here that the Super Tuscan movement was born, challenging convention and redefining the boundaries of Italian wine. Poggio Del Concone was born from that same spirit of innovation, honoring Tuscan tradition while pushing beyond convention to achieve something greater. Powerful yet refined, structured yet expressive, it reflects a modern Tuscan identity and stands among the region’s most sought-after contemporary expressions.

In every glass poured, every sunset enjoyed, and every breeze drifting across the hills, Poggio Del Concone embodies the spirit of Tuscany—a timeless harmony of craftmanship, nature, and passion.

R O S S O T O S C A N A I G T

Poggio Del Concone is what happens when a true Tuscan is told “create the wine you love”. From selecting the ideal area, soil, and vineyards to aging in fragrant oak barrels and careful bottling, every step is given the same care and attention typically lavished on something made for oneself and a few close friends.

Variety: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese

Region: Toscana IGT

ABV: 14%

Acidity: 5.2 g/l

Tasting Notes: Sweet with vanilla bean, mandarin blossom, and mixed berries on the nose, and then more berries burst on the palate over chocolate and coffee with a lift from citrus peel and grounding in earth tones.

Pairing Suggestion: Pair with hearty, rich foods like grilled red meats, robust pastas with meat sauces and aged cheeses. The bold flavors and tannins are a great complement to steaks, lamb, pork, or a simple burger. Braised beef and veal dishes, and meatballs in rich tomato sauce are classic matches, enhanced by the wine’s fruit. Hard, aged cheeses like Pecorino or Parmigiano-Reggiano pair well, as do game meats like venison, earthy flavors like mushrooms and truffles, and even dark chocolate-based desserts.
