Lignum, the ancient Latin word for wood, is the inspiration behind this Super Sicilian blend. The name pays homage to this element of nature that accompanies the wine as it matures over time. The conical Bordelaise bottle is decorated with a real wood label embellished with cutouts to mimic woodgrain and lend an alluringly tactile element to the presentation.

Aromas and flavors of plum jam, blueberry compote, rose petal, chocolate-cherry cookies, red licorice and vanilla with a satiny, crisp, fruity light-to-medium body and a graceful, appealing, medium-length finish revealing notes of spice cake and charred oak with medium tannins and moderate oak flavor.
